I recently purchased these speaker stands and they worked out great for my home surround sound. It has a good weight and base that keeps stands stable on carpet. Easy to adjust height. The only problem i ran in to was the hardware provided has two different type of screws to mount speaker to stand. The screw that was provided that fit my speakers were just a little long. I had to go out and buy a spacer so that it would be snug when tightening the screw on the back of the speaker. Overall the stands worked out great.
